Dupinga river is found in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija, which is about 1 hour away from my parents' home in Sta. Rosa. I have always wondered how to take photos of waterfalls and rivers and turn moving water into artistic, wispy, soft cotton streaks.
I just recently tried long exposure shots using my kit lens and a prime lens. What I did was predetermine a point of focus, then set the shutter speed for a few seconds, while making sure that the camera does not move.
This particular way of taking photos proved to be very difficult and very tricky for me. It was a test of patience, as taking these photos with no additional equipment required waiting for the right time when it comes to natural lighting.
After numerous attempts, I like to believe I have captured some notable photos.
